Johnson County is just south of the Fort Worth area. Many of the cities in Johnson County have really grown in recent years. The city of Burleson, Cleburne and Joshua are ideal communities for families that work in Fort Worth but would rather live in a smaller community.
Burleson is located about 18 miles south of Fort Worth on I-35 and is actually located in both Johnson and Tarrant County. Burleson has a cool Old Town area with shops and restaurants. Cleburne is located southwest of Burleson and is the county seat for Johnson county. The Chisholm Trail Museum is located in Cleburne and is worth the visit.
The city of Joshua is off highway 174 between Burleson and Cleburne.
